Chocolate chai recipe

A pure delight on slow evenings or calm Sunday mornings. This comforting chocolate chaï recipe is delicious and easy to make. Follow the steps below and get ready to get warmly hugged inside!



  • 360 ml milk of your choice

  • 50g dark chocolate, chopped

  • 13g unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 14 g granulated sugar 

  • 6 g fresh ginger, sliced

  • 3 cinnamon sticks

  • 6 cardamom pods, cracked

  • 4 whole cloves

  • Add all ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat and whisk constantly to avoid burning your ingredients. Let it gently simmer for 3 minutes before removing it from the heat.

  • Pour through a sieve and serve in a mug. 

  • Top with milk foam or whiped cream if desired.
