Healthy banana bread

Banana bread is the type of cake that keeps on giving. Delicious, filling, and moist... mmmh! We've mastered a recipe that makes an amazing banana bread while being a bit healthier than the traditional method!

Ingredients

  • 75 grams extra virgin olive oil

  • 100 grams maple syrup

  • 2-3 eggs

  • 2 large bananas (the riper the sweeter)

  • 56 grams milk of choice or water

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinammon

  • 220 grams flour of your choice

  • Optional: chocolate chips, walnuts, pecans, extra banana for decoration ....

Recipe

  1. Preheat oven at 165 degree Celsius and grease a loaf pan

  2. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl

  3. Pour the batter in your loaf pan and sprinkle some extra cinnamon on top

  4. Optional: add your chocolate chips, nuts, banana etc on top of the batter

  5. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, let it cool and voilà ! It's ready to enjoy 😊
